Good food with as many products as possible from Texel and other Wadden Sea regions. If this is not possible, we will look for a sustainable en organic alternative.

In the middle of the dunes of De Koog we made the restaurant and terrace. Good food, extensive choice, as many local products as possible and always fresh and homemade.
The restaurant is completely dog-free. Would you like to have a bite to eat with your dog? Then you are welcome in our bar for a simple 2-course menu.
Reserve your table
Reserve your table for dinner here. You simply choose the desired date and preferred time. Also for non-hotel guests.
We advise you to reserve in time, there is availability for 70 guests.
Prefer a quick bite to eat? Or dine with the dog?
Don't feel like dining elaborately? Or would you rather take the dog with you? Then you are welcome in our bar for a simple, daily changing 2-course dinner.
It is not possible to choose from the restaurant menu in the bar.
Having lunch in Opduin
When the weather is nice, a cup of coffee or an extensive lunch on our dune terrace, while the pheasants scurry among the marram grass. With various sun loungers and seats in the dune path, it is a wonderful place to relax. Non-hotel guests are also very welcome.
Wadden gastronomy
Our chefs source the freshest and most sustainable ingredients from the region, from the Wadden Islands to the coastline from Den Oever to Delfzijl. The sea provides us with day-fresh fish and shellfish, while the land provides organic meat and seasonal vegetables. Each product is carefully selected to reflect the rich biodiversity and flavor of the Wadden region.
